Once you pass the test:

  2. Complete the application for a Remote Pilot Certificate.

  3. Provide your Knowledge Test ID to verify your test results.

  • The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) conducts a security background check.

  • Once your application is approved, you will receive a temporary Remote Pilot Certificate via email.

  • Your permanent Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate will arrive by mail within 6-8 weeks.

  • Part 107 certifications must be renewed every 24 months.
